The students informed me (quite rightly) that I failed to post the homework on my website. Sorry about that. I'll make sure to include the emailed information on my Weebly site, too.
Homework:
Wednesday:
1. Week of September 6 Homework (due tomorrow)
2. Spelling Pages 7 & 8 (Test tomorrow)
3. Read 20 minutes (5 aloud)
We don't have the comprehension questions that go with the reading selection (Journey Across the Ocean).
I extended the deadline for Scholastic orders to Monday because we have a sub tomorrow (because 5th Grade teachers are going to a different school for PE training).
A student asked that I describe the process for getting to the student Math textbook on-line. Here goes:
1. Go to the California Mathematics link on the right of this site (It looks like a purple rectangle). Copy the code listed just below it. Click on the link (the purple rectangle that says "California Mathematics").
2. Once you arrive at the link, you can select numerous things. The link that takes you to the student textbook is listed as "StudentWorks Plus" If you click on that, a screen requesting a code will appear. That is where you use the code (AFF18E8949) listed on my website.
3. Choose any or all lessons you wish to view, review, or preview.
Please let me know if you try to follow these directions and are still unable to reach the desired location. I'll help to get you there.
