Behavior slips went home today.
Also, I have hit a snag on the United States of Food. Many students have not brought back the slip. At this late time, I am going to have to trust each student/family (who has not sent in the slip) to choose something to bring and I'll not worry about overlapping states. Also, if I chose something for you other than what you had your heart set on, you are welcome to make an adjustment. Just be sure each student writes a card which describes its tradition/importance to the state/area, as well as you family connection. ("We like it!" is OK.) Students should write out a list of ingredients so people can sample things knowing what to expect.
If, for some reason, a family can't bring something, the student can bring the cards describing it. They will still receive full credit for the assignment.
